He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Ewald and Bernice Ewald (Carpenter). He is survived by: his wife Nancy May Ewald (Rozan); his children, Michael and Karen; his grandchildren, Sarah and Michael; and his great grandchildren, Brianna and Keegan. He is also survived by six siblings.
