He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul T. Gokey Jr. and Virginia (Proverb); and his stepfather George Melanson. He is survived by: his wife Gail D. Gokey (Larsen); his children, Kimberly Souza (Stephen) of Taunton and Keith Gokey of Franklin; his daughter-in-law Angela Gokey of Middleboro; his siblings-in-law, Jean and James Melvin of Clearwater, Florida.; and his grandchildren, Kasi Taylor (Derek), Kristi Souza, Stephen Souza III, Teaghan Gokey, Rowan Gokey and Declan Gokey.
