He was predeceased by: his spouse Jacquelin Benson (Grose); his daughter Brenda Redpath (Benson); his parents, Raymond W. Benson and Arleen Benson (Tibbetts); and his sister Sally Parker (Benson).
He is survived by: his son-in-law Scott Redpath; his daughters, Bridget Redpath and Meghan Redpath of Lakeville; and his siblings, Terry Benson of Middleboro, MA, Judy Erickson (Robert) of Dalton, NH, Tracy Opalinski (Paul) of Ware, MA and Wendy Tabella Ellsworth (Benson) of Columbus, OH.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the New England Center and Home for Veterans in Boston.
