With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret Dawson (Methuen, Massachusetts), born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 101. She was predeceased by: her parents, James P. and Mary J. Rooney (Tomlinson); her husband Fred Dawson; and her siblings, Joseph Rooney, Francis Rooney, Helen MacCallum and Olive Arroyo.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine A. Sinnamon (James F.) of Michigan, Janice M. Allen of Methuen, Fred Dawson (Kim) of Maine, Margaret Dawson of Methuen and Francis J. Dawson (Nanette M.) of New Hampshire.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home (233 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Monica Church (212 Lawrence St, Methuen, MA 01844). A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Walnut Grove Cemetery.
