He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friend Christine Nolan; his children, Steven O'Connor of Amesbury, MA, Marianne O'Connor of Lisbon, ME, Denis O'Connor of Lisbon, ME, Kirsten Lanouette of Haverhill, MA and Craig Ford of Methuen, MA; and his grandchildren, Curran O'Connor, Riley O'Connor, Leah Kovitch, Lynn Kovitch and Flannery O'Connor.
