He is survived by: his children, Donna Bates (William, Jr.) of Uxbridge, Theresa Zerrien (Andrew Wetherell) of Millville, James Richardson, Jr. of Francestown, NH, Catherine Richardson (Allison Twombly) of Marlboro and Walter Michael Richardson, III (Kayla Crosby) of Medway; and his siblings, Joyce Webber of Bellingham, Sally Grigsby of Las Vegas, NV, Mary Goetz of Owensboro, KY and Stephen Richardson of Medway. He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
