She was predeceased by: her husband James R. Fitzgerald. She is survived by: her grandsons, Charlie and James; her sister Anne Nelson; her brother-in-law Peter of Harwich; her nephews, Peter William, Sean and David; and her stepdaughters, Deborah Fitzgerald of Plymouth and Donna Miranda (Wayne) of Taunton.

She also volunteered for many years for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
