Peter Durfee Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peter Durfee of Marshfield, Massachusetts, born in Cranston, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 5, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Senator Raymond and Elizabeth Durfee (Geissler). He is survived by: his wife Sheila Durfee (Whalen); his children, Thomas (Kathleen), Emily and Katherine; his brothers, Paul (Jeanne Durfee) of North Scituate, RI and David (Patricia Durfee) of North Scituate, RI; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Whalen of Arlington, MA and Susan Whalen of Lunenburg, MA. He is also survived by six nieces, four nephews, one grand-niece and many cousins and good friends.
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic and the current restrictions on social gatherings, the funeral service will be private.
