He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucilla Colon and Enrique Ortiz. He is survived by: his brother Saul Colon; his wife Joan Colon (Shaw); his children, Edward and Melinda Colon; his daughter-in-law Jo-Ann (G.); his granddaughters, Sophia Douglas, Brianna Colon, Selena Gray and Lilyanna Colon; his great grandchild Carlos-Justice Velazquez; and his brothers, Ifrain, David and Noe Colon.
