He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine D. Maher (Devine); his parents, Gerard J. Maher and Murial A. Maher (Doane); and his sister Joan Donahue (James). He is survived by: his children, Steven Maher (Jennifer) of Marston Mills, Elizabeth Kimball (Charles) of Conway, SC and Ruth Masood (Christopher) of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Matthew, Stephanie, Hannah, Brendan, Michael and Gracie; his close friend Cathy; and his grandson Jimmy.
