He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Caswell (Lynch); his child Jodian Merrill (Caswell); his parents, Wesley Caswell and Helen Caswell (Allen); and his sister Mary Maguire.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Caswell (Linda) of Marshfield, John Caswell (Nancy) of South Carolina and Susan Brown (Douglas) of Hanson; his grandchildren, Brian Jr., David, John Paul Caswell, Joseph, Walter Caswell, Eric, Douglas Brown, James Caswell and Amanda Merrill; and his siblings, Joanne Caswell, Frank Caswell and Helen of Montana. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
