He was predeceased by: his parents, Bridget Mahoney (Linehan) and Daniel J. Mahoney; and his siblings, Mary Reardon, Daniel Mahoney, Ronald Mahoney, John "Butch" Mahoney and Kevin Mahoney.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemarie Mahoney (Arciprete) of Marshfield; his sons, Brian P. Mahoney Jr. and Sean R. Mahoney of Marshfield; and his grandson Brian P. Mahoney III of Duxbury. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
