She was predeceased by: her father James Edmond; her son Ralph "Buster" Gerald Hamlin, Jr.; her siblings, Richard Wayne (Jeanne), Alan Evans Leahy and Joyce Elaine Gellerson (Delwin Frank Smith); her stepfather Kenneth George DeWitt; her stepsister Elizabeth "Betty" Lou Emery (DeWitt); and her friends, Edward "Bud" John and Josephine "Jo" King (Thibeau).

She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Louise Leahy (Glover); her grandchildren, Shawn Paul Hamlin Buote (Bethaney Carpenter) of Clearwater, Fla. and Kristin Marie Lillie (Matthew Eric); her sons, Matthew Owen and Patrick Bradley Lillie of Whitman, Mass.; her half-sister Deborah "Debi" Sue Hambright (DeWitt) of Largo, Fla.; her niece Susan Ann Gellerson of Jamestown, N. C.; her cousins, Marc William Hambright, Warsaw, Ind and Sarah Rachael Hambright of Clearwater, Fla.; her stepbrother James Alman DeWitt (Gwen Marie); her stepsons, Stephen Gerard DeCastro of Marshfield, Mass. and David Duncan DeCastro of Pembroke, Mass.; her great-niece Lisa Sally Campbell (Hanscom) of Jamestown, N. C.; and her great-nephew Brian Arnold Hanscom of Fuquay Varina, N. C.
