She was predeceased by: her husband Robert E. Dempsey, Jr.; and her son Robert E. Dempsey III. She is survived by: her children, Carol O'Brien, Ellen Spain and Thomas Dempsey. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
