He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl R., Sr. and Barbara E. Chartier (Maloon); and his father-in-law Michael Ahern, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Laura A. Chartier (Ahern); his sons, Jack M. Chartier and Michael R. Chartier; his siblings, Earl R. Chartier, Jr. of Lowell, Jane E. Chartier of Attleboro, Linda J. Chartier of Mashpee, Joseph M. Chartier (June) of Attleboro and Suzanne M. Rawcliffe (Derek E. Titus) of Attleboro; his parent-in-law Roseleen Ahern (Thomas Lardner) of Mansfield; and his brothers-in-law, Michael Ahern, Jr. and Stephen Ahern (Kathy). He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
