He was predeceased by: his father Manuel of Araujo Cerqueira; and his brother Joseph H. Cerqueira (Paula). He is survived by: his wife Linda B. Cerqueira (Bower); his parent Joaquina Goncalves Cerqueira (Cerqueira) of Arcos; his children, Daniel J. Cerqueira (Courtney) of Rye, Michael W. Cerqueira (Julia) of Jamaica Plain and Lisa C. Cerqueira of Boston; his grandchildren, Theodore, Rafael and Penelope; and his siblings, Maria J. Esteves (Jorge) of Walpole, Rosa M. Sheehan (John) of Weymouth and Alfredo B. Dias (Maria) of Canada. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews.
