She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas E. Flaherty, Sr.; her parents, Alexander McLaughlin and Mary A. McLaughlin (Murphy); her daughter Elaine Doherty; and her sibling Kay Rosemere.
She is survived by: her children, Terri McGrath (Jack) of Raynham, Ann Bottini of Brockton, Kathy Vose (George) of Plymouth, Judy Durkin (Ed) of Franklin and Thomas Flaherty, Jr. (Stacey) of Stoughton; and her siblings, Mary Sweeney, Gene McLaughlin and Peg Grace-McDonough. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
