We are sad to announce that on October 15, 2021, at the age of 79, Gerene L. Mayo (Mansfield, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick G. Mayo; her parents, Raymond H. LeBlanc and Evelyn J. LeBlanc (Fitzpatrick); her brother Joseph R. LeBlanc (Mary LeBlanc) of New York; and her stepbrother David Andrews.
She is survived by: her children, Frederick G. Mayo, Jr. of New Hampshire, Susan M. O'Leary of Maine, Gerene Prilutsky (Boris) of Brookline, Patricia H. Sherman of North Attleboro and Helen F. Thatcher (David, Sr.) of North Attleboro; her grandchildren, Kimberly Snowman, Robert Snowman, Patrick O'Leary, Kevin O'Leary, Rachel Thatcher, Zachary Sherman, David Thatcher, Jr., Alyson Carpeno (Giovanni), Kristina Blodgett (Josh), Hope Mayo and Jacob Sherman; her great grandchild Lucciana Mae Carpeno; her brother Raymond L. LeBlanc (Barbara) of Florida; and her stepsiblings, Barry Andrews (Jeannie) of Norton, Donald Andrews, Frances Alford and Patricia Rice. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Gerene's family has requested that donations in her memory be made to Hope Health Hospice and Palliative Care, 1324 Belmont Street, Suite 202, Brockton, MA 02301.
