He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Anderson (Zimber); his parents, Herbert P. Anderson and Mary Margaret Anderson (Andrews); and his sister Jacqueline Anderson. He is survived by: his children, Donna Schole of Ridgefield, CT, Eric Anderson of Park City, Utah, Jeannine Heaney of New Canaan, CT and Jacqueline Gallagher of North Attleboro, MA.; and his grandchildren, Anneke Schole, Olivia, Nadine Anderson, James, Katherine, Meredith Heaney, Sam and Kate Gallagher.
