He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel H. Sheehan and Mary Alicia Sheehan (Powers); and his siblings, Daniel Sheehan, Raymond Sheehan, Francis Sheehan, Robert Sheehan and Catherine Brunco.
He is survived by: his wife Jane; his children, Elizabeth J. Sheehan (Hatfield), Mary A. Bai (Hanover), Alex Bai, Richard J. Sheehan Jr., Jana Sheehan, Carolyn A. Sheehan, William Legenza and Diana Sheehan of Princeton, NJ; his grandchildren, Kevin Bai, Katherine Sheehan, Julia Halm and Emmet Halm; and his siblings, Mary Ann Sheehan (Marlborough) and Edmund Sheehan (Wakefield).
