He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Porter and Elizabeth Porter (Wigglesworth); and his sister Margaret Porter. He is survived by: his children, Robin Burrows of Billerica, Daphne Hosea and Andrew Porter of Billerica; his siblings, Charles Porter of Raymond, NH, Nancy Isaacs, Patricia Woodbury and Jean Murphy of Burlington; his grandchildren, Samantha, Killian, Keegan Burrows, Eliana, Zachary, Logan Porter, Tiana and Tyler Hosea; and also Robin Porter (Higgins) of Merrimack, NH.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
