She was predeceased by: her husband Robert F. Hammond; and her parents, Melba DeGiacomo and Joseph DeGiacomo. She is survived by: her daughter Heather Hammond Whitt; her son-in-law Jason Whitt; her grandson Spencer Preston Whitt of Sag Harbor; and her sister Sandra Rogers. She is also survived by cousins and friends.
