It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lalith Tissera of Lexington, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 30, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Cyril Tissera and Irene Fernando; his siblings, Prasad Tissera, Dr. Lalani Tissera and Dr. Nimali Tissera; his nieces and nephews, Vimuth Fernando, Dr. Hasith Fernando, Manilka Ratnayake, Thavisha Ratnayake, Lakmal Tissera, Ridmi Ratnayake and Menik Tissera; his brothers-in-law, Dr. Spelman Fernando and Dr. Rohan Ratnayake; his mother-in-law Wiji Alagaratnam; his siblings-in-law, Nira Manoharan and Rajah Manoharan; and his nephew Vickram Manoharan.
