He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Kay McClain (Ferguson); his son John W. F. McClain (Jennifer); his sister Kathleen Kelley (McClain) of Ann Arbor, Michigan.; his granddaughters, Sabrina and Natalie; and his parent Cambridge.
During the pandemic, he would regularly attend both church services on Sundays via Zoom.
