He was predeceased by: his son Ray Erne; and his sister Thelma Giacoppo (Michael). He is survived by: his wife Edith C. Sparre (Rosa); and his children, Susan J. Silva (Joseph) of Brockton, Carol M. Famosi (Daniel) of Brockton, Janet C. Erne and Edward Cole of Ashburnham. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
