He was predeceased by: his parents, Minot Sampson and Lucille Sampson (Batchelder). He is survived by: his wife Carol (McCarthy); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Tyler Sicely) of Chelmsford, James Barry, III of Chelmsford, John Barry of Chelmsford, Trevor Rice of Chelmsford, Julianna Barry of Chelmsford and Courtney Rice of Chelmsford; his great grandchildren, Ryder and Aurora Sicely; his sisters, Cindy (Douglas Baker) of Rye, NH and Linda Sampson of Bethel, VT.; his sister-in-law Marie McCarthy (Anderson) of Stuart, FL; his uncle Al Robinson of Lacolle, Quebec; and also Stephen Rice of Chelmsford. He is also survived by several cousins, and many nieces and nephews.
