We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2017, at the age of 89, Rita Devarennes (Lee, Massachusetts), born in Lynn, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her parents, Wilfred Belliveau and Alice Savard Belliveau; her spouse John E. DeVarennes; her children, Mary Rossi of Lee, Theresa Collins (Terrance) of South Lee, Jean Brighenti (James) of Lee, Norene Malumphy (Robert) of Lee, Susan Hicks of Colorado, James DeVarennes of Lee and Michael DeVarennes (Kathleen) of Lee; her daughter-in-law Mary Lynn DeVarennes of Lee; her siblings, Jeanette Murphy, Alice Ellis, Mary Guptill, Bertha Cripps, Shirley Christman, Wilfred Belliveau, Catherine Raymond and Thomas Belliveau; her children, Ann DeVarennes Hawkins and John J. DeVarennes; her grandson Garret Morse DeVarennes; her son-in-law Edward Rossi; and her sister Cecilia Farrell. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
