He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Retzel and Georgia Runyon Retzel; and his son Richard W. Retzel. He is survived by: his wife Mary Wellington; his children, Kenneth Retzel (Kate) of Lee, Lori Duffin (Mark) of Lenox, MA and Dawn Murry (David) of Spring Hill, TN; and his brother Kenneth M. Retzel (Sandra) of Otis, MA. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
