With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Manuel Joseph Quintal in Lawrence, Massachusetts, born in Lowell, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 8, 2021 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Quintal and Delphine Quintal (Machado); and his wife Eleanor "Ellie" Quintal (Pauta). He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Quintal, Dolly Capella and Albert Quintal; his parents-in-law, Santo, Lucy Pauta, Salvatore Pauta (Connie), Rose Pienta (Walter) and Josephine Wojnar; his daughters, Lucia Eaton (Steve) of Grafton, MA and Elena Leno (Arthur) of Derry, NH; his grandchildren, Eric Quintal of West Boylston, MA, Chelsea Perry of Derry, NH and Bobby Perry (DJ) of North Berwick, ME; his close friend Claire Cavanaugh; his sister Donna Owen (Bill); and his parents-in-law, Pauline Quintal and Joseph Pauta (Sandra). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
