He was predeceased by: his parents, Madeline Covell and Donald Covell; and his brother Rick. He is survived by: his sons, Mike McNeil (Kendra Anthony) of Middleboro, Bill McNeil (Lisa) of Middleboro, George McNeil (Leanne) of Lakeville and Shawn Covell Jr. (Katie) of Middleboro; his siblings, Mark Covell, Bruce Covell, Lisa Covell and David Covell; and his grandchildren, Dylan, Emily Covell, George McNeil Jr, Cameron, Aiden, Kendall, Marissa and Payton McNeil. He is also survived by several step-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral home "Memorial Cremation", Taunton MA, to help cover the cost of Shawn's funeral and cremation services.
