She was predeceased by: her spouse Kenneth G. Pentheny; her parents, Mabel James (Peacock) and William Henry James; and her siblings, Kenneth, Phyllis, Doris of England, Lilian of Hyannis and Elsie of Australia.

She is survived by: her children, Carol Jones (Alan) of Kissimmee, FL, Christopher Pentheny of Hudson, Susan Daugherty (Glenn) of Gibsonia, PA and Kenneth Pentheny, Jr.; her wife Dorothy Smith of Marshfield; and also Victoria Smith (Roy) of Uxbridge. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
