Pearl S. Shyavitz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Pearl S. Shyavitz of Haverhill, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 19, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abraham Gerber and Beatrice Gerber (Brody); and her sister Faith Edelstein. She is survived by: her husband Gerald L. Shyavitz; her daughters, Abby Shyavitz (Brian) of Montreal West and Sara Kutchukian (Paul) of Vergennes, VT; her siblings, Jane Karelitz of Wellesley and Michael Gerber (Lonny) of Needham; and her grandchildren, Londynn, Aurora, Bradley and Mia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Greater New England and Youth Aliyah (Hadassah), in Pearl's memory.
