He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Brent and Agnes Brent (Shanahan); and his siblings, Mary Brent, Michael Brent and Daniel Brent.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Brent (Crowe); his children, Nolan S. Brent, Erin C. Brent and Joseph P. Brent; and his siblings, Kathryn Simonds (Mike), Barbara Mitchell, Judith Russo (Chuck) and John "Jack" Brent (Maureen). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws.
