He was predeceased by: his parent Joseph D.. He is survived by: his spouse Gloria Wade (Torgerson); his parent Norma E. Wade (Knight); and his children, Matt, Ben, Beth, Peter and Stephanie.
A donor to many causes, Doug's final donation was his brain to the Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center.
