She was predeceased by: her parents, John Podlo and Valeria Podlo (Karwoski); her husband John J. Barchenski; her daughter Marlene M. Holmes; and her siblings, John, Roger, Peter, Charles Podlo, Helen Rudnicki, Josephine Freeman, Rose Serowick, Valeria Fosberry and Sophie Lawor.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Donald K. Holmes of Rocky Hill. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
