He is survived by: his parents, Paul Gass of Greenfield and Lori of Pittsfield; his stepparents, Debra Gass of Bernardston and Nathan Mumblo of Sunderland; his grandfather Edward Gass of South Deerfield; his siblings, Melissa Moon (Jason) of Westfield, Zachary Wysocki of Los Angeles and Dustin Gass of Greenfield; his niece Ayanna; his nephew Joshua; and his pet Bailey. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.

“Eric and I grew up together, went to school together, played paintball and sports together. As we grew up as many highschool friends do we drifted apart. In the Spring of 2020 Eric reached out to me as I was working out at my house at the time and we got together several times to do CrossFit. It was a reconnection that I am extremely thankful for. He recently joined my wife's gym and I will miss seeing him there deeply. He was a great friend and he will forever be missed. -Mat Beaudoin”
