He was predeceased by: his parents, Jeremiah Collins and Bridie Collins; his sister Ann; and his brother-in-law David Rowley. He is survived by: his wife Carol Doherty; his children, Kevin Collins (Lori Mansfield) of Green Harbor, Joseph Collins Jr. (Lynne) of Quincy, Theresa Sheehan (Patrick) of Quincy and Kerry Collins of Quincy; his daughter-in-law Laurie Collins of Marshfield; his grandchildren, Tara Fiore (Nick), Patrick, Julia, Michael, Jamie, Katelyn Collins and Kieran Sheehan; his great grandchildren, Harper and Mila; and his sister Geraldine Rowley.
