He was predeceased by: his parents, Emile O. Charette and Irene Charette (Donais). He is survived by: his children, Rene Charette II of Fitchburg, Christopher Charette (Marie) of Cary, NC, Corrine Charette of Gardner and Susan Johnson of Turner Falls; his grandchildren, Olivia, Mackenzie, Eli, Bryce, Elizabeth, Hannah Charette, Stephanie and Joselin Johnson; and his siblings, Lawrence Charette (Ann) of Florida, Robert Charette of Gardner, Gordon Charette (Maria "Penny") of Templeton and Ginger Cregger of Ayer. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
