He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gentili and Anna Gentili (Pasquantonio); and his brother John "Jack" Gentili. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Gentili (Tomasso); his children, Alisa Gentili Williams (Brian) of Newtown and Jason Gentili (Charlene) of North Attleboro; and his grandchildren, Cooper, Beckett, Alexander and Benjamin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
