It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard W. Rice (Franklin, Massachusetts), born in Milford, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 18, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Kay Rice (Duvall); his parents, John Rice and Anne Rice (Lennon); and his brother Jackie Rice. He is survived by: his children, David Doherty (Becky), Tammy Doherty of Bergheim, Patrick Doherty (Kim) of Mendon and Cindy Ripp (Matt) of Arlington, Wisconsin.; his grandchildren, Brian Doherty, Connor Doherty, Kaylin Doherty, Hannah Taylor, Grace Jones, Olivia Onorato, Alexandra Onorato, Nieley Ripp and Easton Ripp; and his great grandchildren, Declan Doherty and Mia Richard.
Calling hours will be on Thursday from 4-7 p. m. Please follow all CDC guideline including wearing face masks.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in his memory to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, MA. 02114.
