She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frederick Zajac; her children, Cathleen Pellegrine (William) of Norwood, Frederick Zajac Jr. (Barbara) of Medfield, Janice Ciannavei (Peter) of Wrentham and Michelle Breen (Lawrence) of Florida; her grandchildren, Michael, David, Monica, Julie, Marissa, Matthew, Abigail, Meghan and Patrick; and her great grandchildren, Isabella, Anthony, Nolan and Cathleen. She was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mona's memory to the Women's Alzheimer's Movement.
