She was predeceased by: her husband John P. Howe, Sr.; and her parents, Joseph E. Barrieau and Christine Barrieau (Richard). She is survived by: her children, John P. Howe Jr. (Rani) of Brooks, Stephen Howe of Millis, Edward Howe (Jane) of Holden, Carol Cormier (Drew) of Spencer, Donna Somers (Stephen) of Webster, Diane Porter (Chuck) of Whitinsville and George Howe (Wade Zahares) of Franklin; and her sister Marie Barrieau of Boston. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
