She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Pontbriand and Germaine Pontbriand; and her sister Claudette Freeman. She is survived by: her husband Robert Maxfield; her children, Dennis (Tammy Maxfield) and Carrie Barrett (Michael McMurray); her grandchildren, Tanya Robichaud and Brent; her great grandchildren, Aidan, Jamison, Mia, Jaeda and Blake; and her siblings, Paul Pontbriand, Pauline Moras and Sylvia Cote. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
