He is survived by: his wife Madeline Lopes; and his children, Michael Lopes (N. Falmouth), Stephanie Lopes of Grand Junction, CO, Jennifer Lopes of Key West, FL and Christopher Lopes (Nicki) of Winthrop, MA. He is also survived by two grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Community Health Center of Cape Cod (//chcofcapecod.org/) or The 300 Committee Land Trust.
