He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Joe; his parents, Joseph McLeish and Elizabeth Bowden Dyet Stevenson; his wife Jean; his children, Joseph John McLeish (Aggy Hooi) and Elizabeth Jean McLeish (Ronald Zuwallack); his grandchildren, Angus and Cora Zuwallack; his pets, Bodhi and Helly; and his sisters, Irene McErlain, Elizabeth Kryston, Mary Baillie and Frances Wade. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
