He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Sylvio Dalpe and Helen Dalpe (Marchand); his brothers, Donald, Raymond and Roland; his children, Robert (Denise Dalpe), Elaine Hewitt, Jeannine Shapleigh, Diane (Stephen Finnegan), Patricia (Gerald Martin) and Mark (Sally Dalpe); his grandchildren, Jennifer Kelson, Heather Woods, Brian Cabral, Jason Cabral, Lynn Weidman, Shawn Finnegan, Stephen Finnegan Jr., Corey Finnegan, Nicole Finnegan, Jillian Marzakis, Megan Girard, William Alden, Ryan Martin, Kerri Martin, Allisa Dalpe and Marcus Dalpe; and his great grandchildren, Colby, Ash Lindner, Luke Weidman, Nicholas, Avery Marzakis, Delaney, Ava, Declan Finnegan and Aiden Alden.

He remained an active member of the CEC/SEABEE Historical Foundation.
