He was predeceased by: his siblings, James Lloyd Murphy, Zita Serval (Joe), Bernice Westhoff (Billy) and Johnny Murphy; and his pet Courtney.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene M. Murphy of Falmouth; his daughters, Laurene Murphy of Rockport, Karen Murphy of Sherman and Lynne Murphy Breen (Bob) of North Reading; his sister Eleanor Cass of Wakefield; his grandchildren, Jacqueline Shefshick (Adam) of Rockport, Michelle Harrington (Michael Shelton) of Gill, Kate Harrington, Will Clawson of Providence, Jakob Wessel, Cassie McManus of New York City, Harper and Tatum Breen of North Reading; his great grandchildren, Miles, Finn and Hunter Clyde Shefshick; and his friend Frank "Franny" Leary. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
