He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Costa and Francisca Santo Christo DeCosta (Palero); and his son Jorge Costa. He is survived by: his wife Berta Costa (Rego); his children, Paul Costa and Susana Lausana (Jose); his grandsons, Matthew Lausana and Nathan Lausana; and his siblings, Gilda Costa Raposa, Adrianna Raposo and Antonio Costa.
