He was predeceased by: his wife Gladys Costa; his parents, Henry Costa and Angelina Costa (Moniz); and his wife Judith Costa (Mouro). He is survived by: his sons, Gilbert Costa Jr., James Allan Costa and Robert Ronald Douglas; his brother Henry Costa; his close friend Sgt. Michael P. Cassidy (Deborah Cassidy); and also MacKenzie Cassidy.
