It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred H. Fernandes (Fairhaven, Massachusetts), born in Acushnet, Massachusetts, who passed away on November 22, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Antone "Bucky" Fernandes; her parent Albert Bates; and her child Alan Fernandes. She is survived by: her parent Sarah Bates (Nelson); her daughter Bruce Fernandes (Jeannie) of Acushnet; her husband Carol Fernandes; her daughter-in-law Gail Bourgault of South Dartmouth; her grandchild Kathleen Fernandes of Fairhaven; and her child David Fernandes. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
